Enhanced AWS Subscription Cancellation Process

With this release, canceling the AWS subscription in an AppDirect marketplace will automatically cancel the subscription in the AWS console.

Previously, the subscription was marked Pending Cancellation in the AWS console and used to incur charges until customers manually closed the account.

This feature prevents financial loss to partners and reduces manual operational overhead and potential disputes.

Prerequisite:

The customer must be using the AWS integration and should have created a subscription through the marketplace.

Feature enablement

This enhancement is not enabled by default. Contact your AppDirect technical representative to request it.

Setting enablement

Setting enablement is required.
